University Launches New AI Research Center

The university has announced the opening of a state-of-the-art AI research center, bringing together faculty from multiple departments.

The university today unveiled its new Artificial Intelligence Research Center, a collaborative hub designed to advance the study of machine learning, natural language processing, and robotics.

The center will house 15 research labs and provide resources for both undergraduate and graduate students interested in AI. Funding for the project came from a combination of federal grants and private donations totaling $12 million.

"This center positions our university at the forefront of AI innovation," said the Dean of Engineering. "We expect groundbreaking work to emerge from these labs within the first year."
